PRODUCT DESCRIPTION – HOW TO USE YOUR FRATELLI PIZZA STONE
From Italian tradition, the Fratelli Pizza Stone transforms your kitchen oven into an old-world brick hearth that keeps crusts crispier and infuses food with delicious brick-hearth flavor. Be the professional pizza maker using this Fratelli Pizza Stone and wooden baking peel. Our set includes a hefty 5 kg stone which retains heat better, keeps even cooking temperature and excellently absorbs moisture from dough so your pizza crusts are always crispy. The wooden peel lets you slide your pizza onto and off of the stone with greater ease. Whether you’re a pepperoni fan or love a veggie, this set will last through dozens of pizza parties and other meals.
- Simply place the Fratelli Pizza Stone into your oven on the lowest oven shelf, pre-heat at maximum temperature for at least 30 minutes !!!
- Shape dough on top of pizza peel, dusted first with cornmeal to aid sliding pizza off onto stone
- Top pizza with toppings (tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, ham mushrooms, olives etc.)
- Slide pizza on hot stone with peel using quick, jerking motions
- Bake approx. 7 - 10 minutes
- Use peel to remove pizza from oven when crust is browned and crispy
- Don’t wash the stone, simply scrape, brush and wipe off with clothe
The Fratelli Pizza Stone will gradually darken and become “seasoned” with use. The cooking characteristics will also become enhanced with use.
